Covid-19 in Scotland and the UK is a rapidly changing situation. What is clear is that society will experience significant upheaval, and perhaps will never be the same again.

In response to the Statement by the UK Health Minister (see
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubm2aLpmLwU), and our social obligations to those most vulnerable in our society, services at our church building are cancelled for the foreseeable future.

However, WE are His church. Each of us as individual parts, with our own God-given gifts, make up the Body of Christ.

All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

1 Corinthians 12:27

Therefore our time together as His church will continue online. Our Pastor Jim Crooks will initiate Facebook and YouTube live streaming. These live streaming sessions will be for around 30 minutes or so, and will continue our planned series’.

There will also be a daily Monday to Friday live streaming prayer event, again via Facebook and YouTube Live. These will generally be at 7pm, although keep an eye on the Sermons page (https://tcfperth.org.uk/teaching-zone/) for the YouTube links and time as these may vary to allow different individuals to participate. These will be led by our Jim Crooks initially, whilst developing a group of individuals (including elders) to complement our Pastor to lead these prayer times together.

Continue to pray. Pray for medical professionals, and government decision makers. Pray for those who are already isolated and concerned about cutting off vital connections. Pray for people who are at greater risk of more significant consequences of becoming infected. Pray for miracles. And pray for the witness of the church of Jesus Christ.
